What’s your favorite Supreme Court case, Gov. Palin?

Who knew that Katie Couric would be such a hard-hitting journalist? Then again, I don’t view a question such as “What other Supreme Court rulings do you disagree with?” as such a hard hitting question.

As a commentator on CNN put it, if we want to be fair we should understand that very few Americans could name a Supreme Court case.

But very few Americans are running for Vice President.

Palin is apparently trying to pass this off as being ‘Joe Six-pack’ and appealing to the common people who would share here lack of knowledge on important issues. What scares me the most is that it might very well work for her.

I don’t know about you, but I want my President and Vice President to be smarter than I am. If that’s elitist, I’ll proudly take the label.

  1. What’s her favorite court case?
I think she could be stumped with, What’s your favorite color?

  2. Pray for McCain-Palin NOT “Lord Obama”. See my site. Don’t forget to watch the debates.

  4. actually, she wasn’t a disaster in the vice presidential debate. nonetheless, biden deafeted her easily. mostly it was not a debate about them, they just talked about the presidential candidates, and how much McCain lies about the environment and economy.

If anyone thinks obama is scary, has anyone even thought about if palin becomes president?
McCain is old, having had a pass at cancer, and not getting any younger. besides she does not add anything to the presidency, while biden is in fact a huge asset

  5. An insult, of course not! she’s appealing to her base, the (what is it now, 10%; lower?) supporters and voters for Bush, “the president they would most like to have a beer with”. that was how he won, so that’s how she thinks she’s gonna win.
Picking Sarah Palin is to me, and i agree with Bill Mahr on this, a slap in the face to women voters. what, McCain couldn’t have picked a woman that had…umm, i don’t know, one god-damn ounce of qualification to be the VP?!!
Sorry about the yelling and swearing Morse (or does an athiest consider it even as cursing?), gotta not let it get to me. in less than a month, the whole charade will be over with, and with any luck at all, we will have a black President.

  6. Oh wow, this just hit me!! if McCain is as much for change as he lies about, then why didn’t he pick Hillary?!! HA HA HA, that would’ve been sooo great, a truly genious move. probly ruin the whole campain, but it would be worth every lost vote, every single pissed off republican. Hey, he might just have made up for it with independants, you never know… and no one ever will…*sigh*

  7. I watched about 20 seconds of Palin’s empty, circling responses before I switched the channel.

And did you /watch/ the Daily Show on Monday night? “Real America?” Come on, Mrs. Palin! If only small towns are “Real America,” then I guess America is already doomed to fakery.

Hmmm…praising a small, select group while sleighting everyone outside of that group. Sounds a little “elitist,” yah?

Sarah Palin is an Elitist! (You heard it here first. ^_^ Unless you read this: http://motleyflux.wordpress.com/ )
